I was thrilled to have my short film ALL CATS ARE GREY IN THE DARK win the Local Spotlights award at the New York Independent Women Film Festival. This festival does meaningful work in championing independent women filmmakers and films centered on women's experiences. It was a privilege to be part of a live event in the heart of New York's theater district, and I appreciate the festival's commitment to elevating diverse female voices in cinema. I'd encourage any woman filmmaker — or anyone telling stories about women's lives — to submit their work here.

I can't talk about hospitality or networking, since I am UK based and couldn't attend. But they gave us wonderful feedback on our winning feature length documentary "Invisible Women". And I would definitely enter this festival again. Our film took 5 years to make, so It may not be next year. But thank you again for your wonderful feedback.
